COMMENTARY: Original character creation is a powerful beast that I took pleasure in wrestling with during my tween years. I never got over it, and people took notice. I was given the idea of a zombie punk band and I first scribbled an undead lollipop of a person who would later become one of the game's protagonists, Grem; it would evolve into a human with undefined race and gender, our slimey guitarist obsessed with attention. Next comes bassist Spykez, the pretty girl of the group, but she'll have to grow some spine. Crash is the big-boned, big-hearted drummer. The heart of the BrainBreakerz that can cook some tasty cookies and pizza. Lastly, a basic zombie grunt that I tried to distance from other stylized brain-munchers that the world has come to know. I refused to make it look like something out of "Plants Vs. Zombies", like a lot of cartoony undead tend to do.
