FINAL ANIMATIC (May 2024)
The animatic that would evolve into a 3D animation final project: "Scout and Pauling Vs. The T-Posing Team of Terror!" Using my own sense of judgement and guidance from my co-animator, I constructed the basic outline of the story of the short. Some shots did end up changing in the final product, but the majority of the story is still intact!
COMMENTARY: My second go at storyboarding, with less of a pre-existing structure, unlike storyboarding a scene from a popular TV show. Pushing character acting and expression is second nature for me, though. Making the animatic readable also came naturally.
Milksteak Pose To Pose (March 2024)
Wee me's first true attempt at a storyboard, featuring audio from sitcom "It's Always Sunny In Philedelphia."
COMMENTARY: My first try at storyboarding. I had suggested to my classmate at the time we create an SFM animation using audio from "It's Always Sunny." I was mildly obsessed (not hyperbolic) with this clip specifically; mainly for how nonsensical Charlie's dating profile is before being turned into something more typical and catfish-y. Like the final's animatic, expression and clarity was key to make reanimating painless.
